Jasmin Dodson
Jasmin Dodson is a minister, mentor, entrepreneur, and community leader from Richmond, VA. She serves at The Life Church RVA as a Minister, Intercessor, Life Group Coach, and Teacher, with a passion for encouraging others through faith and leadership.
A longtime advocate for youth and families, Jasmin has served as a Girl Scout troop leader, certified foster parent, and prison mentor. Professionally, she brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as a Mid-Atlantic Region Office Administrator, and is the owner of JazzyD'zines LLC and JD Muse, LLC.
Above all, Jasmin is the proud mother of her daughter, Joy. She lives by Matthew 5:14: "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid."
Carl Parker
A dedicated school board trustee with extensive experience as a technology procurement consultant, he helps schools secure funding and resources that expand equitable access to technology, connectivity, and digital learning opportunities.
A graduate of St. Benedict's Preparatory School and Saint Augustine's University, he values education, leadership, and community service. He is also a proud husband, father, and longtime youth sports volunteer, using soccer and mentorship to encourage teamwork, discipline, and positive engagement.
His commitment to education, family, and service continues to guide his work supporting students, educators, and families throughout the community.
Dr. Trevor R. McKie
Dr. Trevor Rome McKie is an accomplished federal executive with more than 16 years of experience in organizational leadership, program management, workforce development, communications, and enterprise operations.
He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Morgan State University, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University, and a B.S. in History from Saint Augustine's University. In 2014, he was selected as an HBCU All-Star Student by the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Dr. McKie is also the Founder and CEO of TRM Management, where he has managed operations for public figures in the entertainment and personal care industries. He is passionate about turning vision into action through strong leadership, dedication, and discipline.
